      ***HERE is how to access PRESALE CODES, VIP* and Meet and Greet* opportunities.***   01/30/2017

      Before getting down to the business of access to presale codes, etc. please take note:   ***Please be advised that any member publicly posting actual presale codes anywhere on the forum (and possibly elsewhere!) or reportedly through private messages, will be banned from membership here on AO! NO EXCEPTIONS!   Our site here at adamofficial.com (aka AO) is Adam's official record label site, not his official fan club, and is not the place to find presale codes, nor are they provided through the official newsletter.   Presale codes are provided to paid members of Adam's official fan club one to several hours before the presale begins. If you are a paid member you can find the presale code in your dashboard at that site.
      The official fan club, Adam Lambert Fans, can be found here: http://www.adamlambertfans.com
      You must pay a fee to join. I believe the minimum fee is $9.99.
      Any other entity, website, or contact person on Twitter, email, etc. claiming to be representing Adam's official fan club and collecting payments other than directly at the above website is BOGUS, NOT LEGITIMATE!   Any questions you may have concerning any aspect of the fan club, including presale codes, VIP* tickets, Meet and Greet* opportunities, should only be addressed to the fan club moderators, DearBecky and addictedtoadam here on AO in the Adam Lambert Fan Club subforum. Please check to see if your question has already been posted in an existing thread there before posting a new topic. Please do not post questions concerning these subjects anywhere else on the forum. You can find the fan club subforum listed on the main forums page directly under Tour Talk.   The direct link is:
      http://forum.adamofficial.com/forum/30-adam-lambert-fan-club/   Fan club moderators, please correct me on anything I've posted that you find to be unclear or incorrect, through a PM. Thanks.   *Meet and Greet and VIP opportunities may or may not be offered.

Spotify 2,989,149 - 3 Million soon!

Tyler Oakley added Two Fux to his Jams playlist

NOTE - if you're streaming TF on a playlist that has the track loaded multiple times - it only counts as 1 stream of the song, even if you play the entire playlist.  This is why Spotify will ask you if you are sure you want to add the song to the playlist again - they can tell when fans are power streaming in order to boost the stream count.

It's a good idea to use the playlists and to create your own with other songs added.  If you have a Premium paid Spotify membership, you can queue your playlists. ;)

Although Two Fux prolly isn't going to radio in the USA , Canada, UK and "a few" other countries,  streaming Two Fux IS important.  There is a strong possibility that Two Fux will be on Adam's new album - if so, streams of Two Fux will help with getting Adam's new album a nice debut position on Billboard HOT 200 chart (Note; Canada and Australia also use this method of factoring in streams as well)

Billboard 200 Makeover: Album Chart to Incorporate Streams & Track Sales (click on the red text to access the full article)
The updated Billboard 200 will utilize accepted industry benchmarks for digital and streaming data, equating 10 digital track sales from an album to one equivalent album sale, and 1,500 song streams from an album to one equivalent album sale.

Streaming will go toward Gold and Platinum status as well;
Effective from yesterday (February 1), plays on the likes of YouTube, Vevo, Apple Music and Spotify will count towards the RIAA’s Gold & Platinum (G&P’s) Album Awards.
1,500 on-demand audio and/or video song streams = 10 track sales = 1 album sale.

PLEASE  KEEP STREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D ok, THANK YOU! :)

Please take a moment & read this article posted on Billboard.com on July 27/17  Clearing Up 'Free Streams' on the Charts  (click on blue text to read the full article)

In regard to using a playlist (on YT or Spotify) with the same song loaded over and over - Please NOTE this part;

"By the methodology now in place, which was arrived at in partnership with our industry constituents (record labels, distribution companies, etc.), on-demand audio streams from approved contributors, whether in front or behind a pay-wall, or via a free, discounted or paid trial, all count equally, provided the streams are consumer-initiated “on demand.”

All of the above streaming variations are then put through an intense vetting process by Nielsen Music, which works closely with each streaming service to assure there are safeguards in place to guard against automated streams and/or excessive streaming from singular IP addresses."

In considering this, there is a very strong possibility that using playlist with the same song loaded over and over is seen as "excessive streaming" ;)

When you add the same song to a Spotify playlist, they tell you, "This song is already in your playlist" - it makes sense that they can detect excessive streaming - after all, they do pay artists royalties for each stream.

Please take a moment to read this https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/taylor-swift-breaks-time-day-one-spotify-record-look-made/

 *NOTE* this part ;)

"...  this only includes streams eligible for Spotify’s charts: to prevent people gaming the system, Spotify puts a cap on the number of plays each individual can log within a 24 hour period."

Ok considering this and the Billboard update posted above that states basically the same thing, - in a nutshell - we need more ppl streaming ;)
