Here is a tweet with one of the venues seating chart

Unfortunately, it doesn't show where the on stage seats will be. The representative from VIP Live Nation just said they will be an unobstructed view from the side of the stage. I don't know if it would be a better experience to be on the stage or attempt to get within the first few rows.

@SammesMommy, the view and sound would almost certainly be better in the VIP Gold seats (1st few rows), especially if you can get near the center.  If you just consider the placement of the sound and visuals relative to the audience, that will certainly give you the best perspective.

However:  I think the lure of the on-stage seating is the closeness to the action and to feel as if you are part of the show.  There are many clips from previous tours that show Brian and Adam interacting with the lucky on-stage patrons.

I'm definitely thinking about the on-stage seats, if I can get my hands on a ticket.

@ADAMITES2015 has done the onstage seating.  I have had 2nd and 3rd row (front center) and sat at the end of the B stage catwalk for the 2014 NA tour opener in Chicago.  Alos sat in the stands - right side of the stage - when Adam was on the screamer, He was like 10 ft or so away from us.  That was cool sitting there b/c when you're in the front rows (which i do prefer) you don't get to see the entire light show effect.  ;)

The decision of which package to choose is tough because I don't know what any of the seats will be like. I saw Adam in Charlotte in March and was in the front row. At all times, he was no more than 5 feet away from me, although it was because the venue and stage were small. I am afraid that being onstage limits what I will be able to see. But then I don't know--maybe being on stage will provide a better view and experience because you are so close to them! I just wish I knew where the seats would be for sure! In Charlotte, my view was like this (see pic I attached). I didn't even need to zoom in--Adam was just really that close! I know that won't happen with this tour because the venues and seating will be very different, though.

When I saw QAL in Brussels I was in first seating section from stage. It was quite a way but i got the full effect of the show lights and all and it was fantastic sound. I didnt sit though. Everyone else did but i couldnt bear it. There were empty seats behind me so i was able to stand and dance without obstructing anyones view

When i went to see Adam in london we were 2nd row and sound wasnt v good because we were in front of speakers.

In Manchester we were about 5 rows back and it was much better sound and we had a direct view through to Adam.

Both of uk shows we were in standing section.

I suppose it depends what kind of show it is and if being close to Adam is the most important thing to you.

X

As Koula said: if being close to Adam ist the most important thing you will enjoy the stage seating. You also catch glimpses of backstage proceedings. However, watching the show from the front is much, much better with regard to full view and sound. Also, you probably will have more fun. Stage seating is somewhat restrained. I would always prefer being part of the crowd. I can tell because I have seen many shows from side and/or front :)

Well, the first few rows are great and the view is amazing (although I would recommend trying to get seats near to the center of the stage) and it definitely was an amazing experience for me and my brothers. @ADAMITES2015 was on stage for QAL's Bangkok show, maybe she can tell you more about what it was like :)

Hi guys, thought I'd drop in for the boy's birthday and saw my name has been mentioned  :D

The 'On stage' seating experience...was amazing! I have also seen Adam from 3rd row and closer (standing GA). I enjoyed all of those for different reasons.  I guess it's nice to be able to experience his performances from different perpectives.  Lets face it, we Glamberts are happy watching him on the screen

There are pros and cons with all seating, the CONS for on-stage seating for me were:

Missed out seeing Adam's Killer Queen number as could only see the back of the chair :(

The security is heightened due to our close proximity to the artists, so very strict regulations (depending on venue/country) re cameras etc.

For some (not me) you are on stage in full view of quite a large crowd which is an adrenaline rush and can be quite overwhelming for some.

You do to some degree miss that magical feeling that he is performing to you as mostly he is servicing the front of the stage, so you miss that lovely eye contact during performance. For a lot of the concert you're watching Adam's back (although it's a nice back ;) lol)

The PROS;

The amazing hospitality of the VIP lounge before the show!

Early access, no lining up and made to feel special.  Of course all the special VIP merchandise.

We had an opportunity to tour backstage to see what goes on behind the scenes, even their little costume change tent, with labelled stuff for each artist.

In SOME cases, a brief encounter with one of the artists backstage.

Hearing some stories about the tour and the artists from roadcrew.

Adam and the band did on several occasions make an effort to give us a smile, nod or a photo op (an angle only you can take).

You could almost touch Adam (if it were allowed ) as he often comes for a drink or towel after each song right in front of you.

For me you get this amazing feeling that you are part of the performance as the band's cues are more obvious, little comments that are made, the exchanging of glances that you just don't seem to spot whilst on the ground amongst the screaming fans.

Who knows how many more Queen shows will happen in the future.  So to be able to say you have been 'on stage' with the infamous band QUEEN and Adam Lambert as front man, is a once in lifetime (unless your filthy rich) experience that only few can say they have done. NO REGRETS for me :D

I saw the seats from a close-up site at one of the European Queen shows and there were barriers to being able to see well. There were pieces of equipment that were not that high but when looking from under the stage level, they did block some of the view of Adam when he was at the back of the stage. I am going to look at the stage set-up in a bunch of shows and see how much equipment there is at the front of the stage that could interfere with a view from below the stage.

I sat in the 4th row on a side section right before the angled section about even in height with the stage. The sound was very distorted. The only time I could hear clearly was when Adam was singing ballads. I just bought vibes earplugs that lower the decibel level evenly throught the hearing spectrum to hopefully lessen the distortion.

Where in a arena have you found the sound to have the least distortion?

Thanks, Foxey. :) Sadly, the vid didn't play for me. Was there anything "new" on it?

Ooh, I'm liking the looks of Rami Malek - he does look like Freddie. And they did make it sound like he can sing too. :) Sounds intriguing.

Hi @PeterPeter! :) Welcome! I agree with you, the show is at it's best seen from the front and I'm adding the lighting, confettis, screens and the excitement of the clapping, singing and jumping crowd all around you to your list. :) So anyone going for the first time or for the full show - I would recommend the crowd.

@SammesMommy here are a few videos from a fan that had VIP stage seating for the 2016 Koln show

(...)

Thanks, carter. I'm sure those vids are helpful to many. Just as @ADAMITES2015 wrote, there are pros and cons for all seatings. To me there are many extra little things you get to experience when seated on the stage so I would personally choose the side stage if I had that chance because I've seen QAL twice already - from a seat far a way on a big arena and standing from first row. Some here might remember that I'm interested in all the aspects of putting that huge of a show together so I would get extra kicks from seing all the tech and hustle. ;) Not to mention to be able to experience those shows from Adam's point of view. That crowd must be a great sight! :) Although I must admit that it would be really hard for me not to stand, dance and sing along - I hope it's not forbidden! :D

So yea, in the end it's really about the preferences of the individual in question. :)

Omg, yeeees!!! On that one vid they were talking about doing new songs!!! @Anka87, maybe you will get your Inuendo! :)

Philadelphia did not get confetti last time. i think it may have to do with what the contractors charge to clean it up. The price of the union contractors has been a problem In Philadelphia for decades.

I have not been here in months due to family obligations, and am very excited to learn of this great news. I will purchase my tickets and hope that I will be able to attend. I am very blessed to have a special friend who is an incredible caregiver, and she should be able to take care of my 93-year-old mother so that my son and I can attend a concert.
